Our goal

Sam and I (Brandon) are just starting to build a darkroom last week we met with a contractor and we made some blueprints and estimated the cost. I think its going to take some work and a lot of time considering we only have about a month and a half. But i feel that we can get it done.

    Brandon & Sam,
    I am very excited about this project. A blog is a perfect place to capture your thinking, wondering, learning and obstacles. My favorite part is how you are combining the old and new technology. The way I've heard you describe your experiences in the dark room sounds like meditation, a place to slow down and focus on one thing at a time. This time in our busy days of multi-tasking, hyperlinks and always being on is critical to remain grounded and focused.
    Keep up the good work; I know you will be successful with this project.

    You are off to an excellent start! It's exciting to be the teacher of such enterprising young men. I'm glad that you are Bringing Back the Film because, like Chris McCandless, I'm a fan of things in their natural form.
